Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about parenting support, insurance, telehealth, and who we help in NJ, NY & CT.
-
Parenting Support for ADHD & Behavior is parent-focused coaching. Your child may join briefly when helpful, but sessions center on caregiver skills you can use at home.
-
No. Many families begin Parenting Support for ADHD & Behavior before a formal evaluation. We’ll work from what’s happening day-to-day and build practical tools right away.
-
Parenting Support is self-pay because parent coaching is typically not covered by insurance. Couples therapy is also self-pay because insurance typically covers only diagnosable medical conditions, not relationship work. For our individual and family therapy services, we're in-network in New Jersey with Aetna, Horizon BCBS, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and TRICARE. New York and Connecticut clients are billed out-of-network with superbills provided. HSA and FSA accepted. See our Rates & Insurance page for full details.
